About Patrick

Patrick is a veteran of the creative side of the advertising business. Veteran is the correct word to use here, because it implies scars, which he has. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts, The One Show and a bunch of other organizations and self-congratulatory industry award associations that you probably haven’t heard of. (For example, if you live in the UK, you probably haven’t heard of the London International Advertising Awards — and good for you.) Suffice to say, he knows his trade. Patrick worked his words in the service of commerce for years before he dared to write fiction.

In 2005 he busted out of the narrow little world of advertising. It started innocently enough, with a podcast called the Seanachai. Once the can of worms was opened, as they say…

Patrick has won Parsec Awards (for Podcast Fiction) for How to Succeed in Evil and the Death of a Dishwasher.

His most recent work is Unkillable, the story of a guy who gets himself killed and then brought back from the dead for a shot at revenge.

He currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his lovely wife a lot of books and his mischievous, hyperactive dog. Occasionally he plays golf.
